This was a big anniversary for us..35 years. Seems like we go all out now for anniversaries especially the big milestone ones because we never got a honeymoon and we were always broke for years. So this year we went to Hawaii! We went To Kauai this time because we've never been there. Can't believe it's actually been 11 years since we had been to Hawaii.
We were up bright and early the day after board meeting and on our way.
We went through Honolulu and wow that airport has sure grown. It was amazing and a mass of people, especially oriental people.
We grabbed a bite to eat at the airport and there went my diet!
Flying into Kauai was amazing. I felt like I was going to Jurassic Park.
This was such a tiny airport in huge contrast to Honolulu.
Our room wasn't fantastic. But it wasn't bad it just felt like a great view of the roof. But when you crop the picture it looks amazing.
Much better. It was a nice resort but laid our differently. The lobby was quite a haul from the entrance and things like that but it was beautiful!
That night after we got settled in we headed out exploring for a place for dinner.
This was a great find. It's gonna be a great trip!
