Memorial Day Tradition

Every Memorial Day the Coopers gather and tidy and maintain the family graves. Most work and some just visit and watch. There's usually so many of us it goes fast which is fine by me because it's not exactly cool outside on Memorial weekend.

This is quite a work crew this year!

The Royal Wedding

It's tradition now. Ashley and I must stay up all night in our respective homes and watch the royal wedding. We text through the whole thing commenting on absolutely everything and enjoying every single minute. Thank goodness the next day was Saturday or I would have died.
It was fabulous. We loved everything about it and completely enjoyed ourselves. In fact we need another wedding to watch!

Spring means baseball in our house. Ashley had all her boys playing this year. It was super busy. She ran herself ragged especially since she had to coach Dane's tball team.

Dane Turns 5

We had cake after MayDay and again at Dane's party on Sunday.

Dane has always been a Grandpa's boy. They have lots of fun together.

Cake #2 what a lucky boy!
They sure had fun with that black icing. Highlight of their day I'd say!

Stake Conference

We knew this day was coming since February when Pres Messer got the letter from SLC that the Stake Presidency was being released in May. Those couple of months flew by with lots of ends to die up. There was a dinner for all the high council and the Stake Presidency and their wives during the week so sthey could get together and say their thanks and goodbyes.

It was bitter sweet of course but I for one was happy about it. Lots and lots of things have been put off for about 21 years so it was time to get a list going. The new Stake Presidency was Pres Brandon Leavitt and Pres Darren Leavitt and Pres Charles Burt. They'll be great and have our full support.

May Day 2018

May Day has come around again and this year we were in town for it. Cooper was a greaser in the fifties and Rees was in the sixties. It's always pretty cute to see the kids dance. It's a fun time to grab a seat but somehow we made it work.

After Rees did his dance parents joined them for some dancing for the crowd.
Dane and Shay really got into the spirit of things too.
How adorable are these kidlets!

Quick Trip to St George

Megan and Kallie were in St George for a bit to see her family so we ran up there one night to spend a little time with them while we could. Christina meet up with us so she could play with her too.
She quite the character and it was so fun to see them again.
It was a weeknight so we had dinner and then hurried on home.
