We had a great day visiting the park on our "Tundra Wilderness Tour" We were really hoping to see lots of land animals since we hadn't seen many yet and we weren't dissappointed.
This is polychrome valley. It was more beautiful than pictures show of course. Lots of different colors!

Mount Denali peaking out over the other mountains. We grabbed a picture while we could incase we never saw it again. Luckily we actually we able to see it very clearly for the next 3 days.
The road getting out there was pretty fun especially in our school bus.
A better look at Denali
I was so excited to see the tundra finally. It was amazing up close. Just full of berries and pretty little flowers. I was enthralled with it. It was fun to walk on it too. Spongy kind off.
After our 8 hour bus tour we did a hike around the visitor's center. It was a pretty substantial hike too. The scenery was beautiful and it was nice to get out and stretch our legs. We had dinner on the patio again and did some shopping back at our Princess "village". It was a fun day.
