Day 3 Disneyland

Monday Doug went to work and we went Disneyland. Charisse arrived during the day and we thought we'd give her a chance to rest up a bit so we braved it alone feeling like pros now.
We took the MTR and there's a special line on the last leg of the journey that takes you right to Disneyland.
You never see the trains this empty
After forever on the trains and walking into the park we were finally there.
Main street looked so familiar. The gazebo was different and the entrance was a facade. But it was so cool to be there.

There were a few rides and of those very few were familiar. When we got into the section with the rides very similar to adventure land we took the cruise around very much like the jungle cruise with a few differences. I enjoyed seeing it changed up.

We stopped next at the Lion King Show. It was amazing! Very cool.

After the Lion King we just went around the path and stopped at all the things to see and ride.

We really enjoyed the ride on the runaway mine cart. It was really fun.

It let you out in a western mining town that was a few shops mainly and a couple of eating stands.
Around the corner was their version of the haunted mansion.
It looked cool from the outside but was a big disappointment inside.
The first room was the only similar thing and it didn't stretch at all. Kinda weird.
After the haunted mansion we went around the corner and found a good place to eat with some food that hopefully wouldn't kill me! There was every kind of asian food in a food court type place.
I got the Korean and it was very yummy.
Toy Story land was a few carnival type rides and a gift shop with some really cool large props.

Fantasy land was next.
They had Dumbo of course and it was mobbed. The interesting ride was wasn't even a ride. It was a collection of miniature story book scenes from famous Disney movies.

They were pretty cool and all situated around the pretty garden.
There was a small world. That's not optional!
We always have to have a treat at Disneyland.
Tomorrow land was very different as well.
The starwars ride was like a space mountain but with a cool starwars theme. There were laser lights shooting off everywhere during the ride and it was really cool. Probably our favorite.
They had a live action starwars show for little kids too.
We stopped at a restaurant for a nice dinner and enjoyed some people watching. I had the best lemon herbal tea there! Really warmed me up because it cooled right off at night.
It was a fun day but for Disneyland it was really small and easily done in no time at all. I like that they had different rides with a familiar theme. We managed to get back in one piece and Charisse was there when we got back.
