Day 3 Smithsonian

Luckily today was a little more chill. We didn't have any tours planned with it being Saturday so we headed down to do some Smithsonians. Of course you must start with the Air & Space. Always a fave especially with guys.

After a few hours here we decided to Metro over to Union Station for lunch. It's such a cool building and there's lots of choices for everyone. So we all picked our favorites and had a nice little break. It wouldn't be complete without chocolate so we indulged in fine chocolate and all headed back down to the Mall. This time for the American History Museum. That one is my favorite!
 Union Station is so pretty.
Ready for more history!
The surrender flag from the Revolutionary War
Indiana Jones
After a day of museums we headed to a fun restaurant that we discovered last trip, Ted's Bulletin. We love this place but since we couldn't get a reservation it was quite a wait for a table. Worth it.
They are famous for their homemade poptarts which are super fun. Hayden and I got the "TV Dinners" because we got another Poptart. We're no dummies.

Dinner was so great. After dinner we headed over to Jeff & Rachel's to visit and hang out for awhile before hitting the hay for tomorrow's big day.
