It's here!

It was a pretty quite year this year as far as Christmas goes. It was not our turn to have everyone here.
We had to do the saran wrap game for the kids. They loved it last year so now it's a tradition right?

Then the best part is after dinner we head to the living room for carols and fun Christmas music.
There must be piano duets. It's a rule.

Christmas day we head up to Ashley's house for a lovely soup dinner. And I do mean lovely!
Then we had a tea party with just us girls. We had to break in Shay's new mini Royal Albert tea set.
She was adorable.
Christmas Eve was at our house. Hayden and Megan were back for the huge festivities. Well dinner and games lol.
Kallie loves watching the action in the kitchen.
And she's really into buckles. She can do them up but not take them apart but who can resist helping her with all her little pleases.
And all good days stay with a visit to the park. Even Overton Park.

No pictures of New Years Eve itself except us trying to torture Rees with whipped cream in his hand when he fell asleep before midnight.

It was a quieter year with just the two of us for Christmas morning but it was still great. Very relaxing actually. Ashley invited us to her house but we opted to sleep in. We are old! Christmas is such a wonderful time of year no matter how many of us there are. We are so blessed it's good to reflect more on that as we enjoy being with our family near and far.
