Hollywood Studios

We really love this park. I have to say the restaurants there are the best theme restaurants we have ever been to anywhere. SO fun and the food is simply amazing also. The day started off cold and damp and windy and just got worse from there. Who knew we were going to need winter gear in Florida. Just two days before it was in the 80's!!
We got there just in time for our lunch reservations at the SciFi Drive In Theater. It's awesome. You sit in these miniature cars and car car hop comes on roller skates and takes your order. Then you sit back and watch SciFi clips you remember from the good old days while you wait for your food and then eat it.

We love that place and we weren't in any hurry to get back out there in the cold.
While we were walking around we saw the coach they used in the new movie Cinderella. Great movie by the way but it hadn't even been released yet. The coach was amazing but the line to get your picture taken there was nuts so we moved on.

We're getting into this selfie thing!
I have always wanted to go to Lights, Motors, Action but we could never get the timing to work out right so this time we managed it. It was such a great show. We just loved it and went twice.

 Saw some famous cars!

After a cold afternoon of shows including Indiana Jones we headed to our dinner reservation at our other favorite theme restaurant.
This is the front door where you come in and are told to have a seat in the living room to wait.

The living room is just the way we all remember it from the 50's and 60's!!

Everyone sits at their own kitchenette to eat
Mom's kitchen

Dad's dessert (that's the name of it) looks like dad made it.
Another super fun day but we left before the place closed which is different for us. We were cold and tired and we knew we would be back someday!

Our Trip Around the World

The day had finally come for us to eat ourselves around the world. We started off in Epcot with a couple of rides Mendis hadn't been able to go on in 2009 when we were last here.
We went on the Mission Space adventure which is fun.
I took the easier version and he did the ramped up one.
We did Test Track together. That is pretty fun too and that car really gets going. The lines were crazy busy though.

Then we headed over the magical bridge into the World Showcase which is hands down our favorite.

We started off with fish & chips for lunch from England. You just have to do that. Basically tradition now! A couple birds joined us and wanted our lunch pretty bad. So did the squirrels.
We did some shopping through Canada and England and then got dessert in Paris.
Those French pastries are also a tradition. Actually our favorite tradition I would say.

Then we walked and shopped through Morocco and Italy.
You just have to get chocolates in Italy. They are scrumptious.
In Germany we had to visit the Werther's shop. The smell alone is enough to kill you. The carmel popcorn in hands down the best in the world!
China
Norway
Mexico is always fun

 We saw this amazing stroller.
Of course the little girl who was riding in it later was wearing her princess gown!
This might have been the first time we went to the America pavilion and watched the show and everything.

Amazing drummers in Japan
We came back to Japan and had dinner.
Luckily I had made reservations weeks earlier or we would have been out of luck.

Not so hidden mickey in Morocco

After dinner as we were walking out the lighting in England and Canada was just perfect.

O Canada

A great day!!

Dinner with Orellanos

The next day the guys had meeting in the morning and then we took Mike & Karla to the airport and we checked out of our hotel and into our timeshare. We met up with Nadine & Will and the kids that night for dinner. Cassie had to work that night so she missed out on all the fun.

It was really great table side guacamole service. We had yummy chicken quesadillos. We even had Coke from Mexico. We sat out by the water on the deck which sounds super fun and it was except it got really cold and windy. Luckily they lowered the clear shade so that helped a ton. Carter was even able to take his arms out of his tshirt after awhile lol.
It was fun to hang out with Nadine's family for the evening. It was a great meal and great company. We haven't had a ton of time to get to know Will so this was a wonderful opportunity. Too bad we missed Cassie though.

Magic Kingdom with Karla

One more day of business for the guys, one more fun day for the women! Karla and I decided to go to the Magic Kingdom on Tuesday.
Luckily there was a shuttle that stopped right at out hotel to take us back and forth.
We headed straight for "Be Our Guest" restaurant because I really, really wanted to go there and they have a standby line for lunch. It was only about a 30 minute wait which I didn't think was too bad especially for that place.
Of course they even entertain everyone in line. The castle was soo cute.

The view from our table. So you order on the way in to the ballroom on a computer screen. You pay there and everything. Then they give you a rose to take to your table which is a GPS devise so the servers can find you and bring your food right to your table on these big serving carts. They don't carry anything which is a great idea considering all the people milling around, especially kids.
I had to take a tour of the place while we were waiting for our food. There was the beasts study where everything looked torn apart. The rose was there of course under glass.

I just had to take pics of our desserts. It's basically a tradition right. BTW best chocolate cupcake ever!
Karla and I had such fun riding rides even though it was pretty crowded. It started pouring at one point so we waited in line forever and got us some ponchos. Then we hit Splash Mountain all prepared too since by then it stopped raining. We did Pirates and a few other rides. The best story was the Haunted Mansion though. We had just the perfect amount of time left to go and still comfortably get our shuttle back.
Well wouldn't you know the ride quit just as we were about to get on our doom buggy but at that point there is no going back off the ride you are committed to go. So it finally started up and away we went. Then seriously about four cars from getting off the ride it stopped again this time for about 20 minute easy. We couldn't figure out what the problem was until I looked over and say they were unloading a wheelchair man. That should have been no big deal but for some reason we sat there for at least 20 minutes while they discussed etc. We were pretty upset by then and worried we were going to miss our shuttle reservation. We did some major speed walking out from the back of the park clear out to the transportation station a monorail ride away. We just made it with no time to spare. Not even a minute. What a crazy way to get out of there especially since we didn't even have time for me to stop and get my box of Disney popcorn that I wanted so badly :(
